Longtable Farm Dinner – Prairie Gardens
A Farm-to-Table Dinner Experience!
Fire up your imagination as you experience a one-of-a kind, interactive award-winning gourmet dinner longtable spring dinner experience - and learn about the farmer's incredible pioneer journey as the only blue pumpkin farm north of the 56th parallel in the world!
This memorable, all-inclusive, truly unique farm experience will include:
- A Prairie Farm Welcome - with sampling and shopping at the Alberta Made "Meet the Makers" market, where you will have the opportunity to try local products, such as local beer, distillers, wine, jams, cheeses, charcuterie and purchase pottery, jewelry, Indigenous crafts, art.
- Gather at the Fireroaster Pavilion for appetizers, where guests can exchange their free ticket* for a shot of ‘saskatoon berry infused locally distilled moonshine’ or a locally made Mocktail.
- Hands-on networking time as guests learn how to make a herb-infused salt rub.
- Learn about edible flower and micro green production in the greenhouses.
- The main event: the epic longtable farm dinner under starry lights in our warm and cozy greenhouse, whilst you enjoy an award-winning local songwriter and singer! The meal will begin with our 80 foot long legendary longtable “Everything from the Farm" planked salad presentation - which will have your mouths watering and your cameras snapping!
Throughout this event, guests will experience genuine rural hospitality - as Farmer Tam and Chef Maria Sereda and Amy Mifflin work in harmony with nature and their community - as they carve a niche for sustainable rural culture, farming, as you support an earth conscious local farm. As an award-winning local food activist and career spanning over 35 years, Farmer Tam Andersen is a pioneer in advocating ethical, nutritional farm practices from dirt to dish.

Itinerary (Fri. May 3, 6:30pm - 10:00pm MT)
6:30pm - Shuttle bus boarding. Departs from the Edmonton Convention Centre at 6:45pm sharp.
7:30pm - Buses Arrive at Prairie Gardens, South Parking Lot. Short walk to the “Meet the Makers” and Fireroaster Pavilion
7:35pm - Welcome event: "Alberta Made - Meet the Makers" for sampling, artisanal shopping and make a herbal infusion/salt rub
8:05pm - Short walk to the Greenhouse Pavilion. Take a seat at the Farm Longtable for a three-course gourmet dinner. Wines sponsored by Henry of Pelham
9:30pm – Depart Prairie Gardens
10:00pm - Drop off at the Hilton by Doubletree Downtown Edmonton
Ticket details & pricing
- Longtable Farm Dinner ticket must be purchased in advance. TIckets will not be sold onsite.
- Refunds not available on social activities.
- Space will be limited to the capacity of the bus transportation. Avoid disappointment and purchase your tickets early.
- This social activity will take place on Fri. May 3, 2024 from 6:45pm MT through 10:30pm MT.
- This is an off-site event. Bus will depart the Edmonton Convention Centre at 6:45pm MT sharp and return to the DoubleTree by Hilton Edmonton Downtown at 9:30pm MT
- Bring cash or credit card to shop at the Artisan Market.
- Dress is ‘Snappy Country’. Please note that the weather is variable in early May - it could be +30, or it could be -5C by 9:30pm. Guess should bring a warm sweater.
- In case of inclement weather, guests will head indoors to the Greenhouse
Price: $70.00 CAD + tax each
Event ticket includes:
- One ticket (value $5 each) that can be used in exchange for a shot of Alberta Saskatoon Moonshine, or a locally made Mocktail.
- Herb infused salt rub that guests will make during their visit.
- Round trip shuttle transportation from the Edmonton Convention Centre returning to the Hilton by Doubletree Downtown Edmonton.
- Sampling of appetizers during the pre-meal activities.
- 3-course meal, wine served with dinner (up to 3 glasses each) – wine sponsored by Henry of Pelham.
Refunds not available on social activities.

- Additional drink tickets can be purchased at Prairie Gardens using cash or credit/debit card.
